User Fee Policy and Procedure for 2016-17 School Year
1. All participants in sports, marching band and all other clubs and co-curricular activities will be assessed a fee. These fees are for any high school and middle school student in grades 6 through 12 wishing to participate. The activity fees are as follows:
-$150 for high school students
-$75 for middle school students
2. The user fee for clubs, athletics, extra and co-curricular activities is non-refundable.
Any participant who leaves a club, activity or team voluntarily or who is dropped for disciplinary or scholastic deficiencies, is not eligible for a refund.
3. If a student is not selected for an activity, e.g. school play, prior to the first event, the activity fee will be refunded.
4. Parents and students should understand that this fee simply entitles the participant to a place in the activity. It does not guarantee participation time in games, leads in performances, etc., nor does it ensure specific positions on a team. Those decisions will remain with the coaches and advisers. Fees collected in this manner are designed simply to help partially defray the operational cost of running the programs.
